As the rain fell from the sky that
night, the thought of a flood NEVER crossed my mind.
We are NOT in a flood area. But when you get about
7" of rain in 2 hours, that doesn't really matter.
About 30 minutes after I went to sleep, my car was
under water. I awoke from the noise outside, but it
was too late. Insurance has deemed it a total loss.
Sadness :( |

This is the subwoofer enclosure I built to house the 12"
Polk Audio dB. The sub is designed to be downward facing
and sits rather low in the trunk. The front edge is angled
to let it rest closer to the back seats. This allows me
to put groceries and such right on top of it and not lose
my trunk. It can also stand on it's side to get it out of
the way.
